KENYA AA COFFEE
Kenya is well-known for its cooperative coffee production system, which encompasses cultivation, processing, milling, marketing, and selling.
Around 70% of Kenyan small-scale farmers are considered to be unemployed. This means that roughly 150,000 farmers are directly involved in coffee production, and the business employs a total of six million Kenyans, either directly or indirectly.
The Kenya AA descriptor perplexes a lot of coffee lovers. They mistook it for a species or a variation. Some assume it's a coffee region, while others think it's a Kenyan coffee brand. None of these are accurate! Kenya AA is a designation granted to the best coffee beans from Kenya. So, how do you tell if your Kenya roast is Kenya AA graded?
If a coffee brand is labeled "Kenya AA," it signifies the bean is in the top tier of the Kenyan coffee grading system. Kenyan AA coffee beans are classified as broad coffee beans with the highest concentration of rich oils and subtleties and are rated after milling.
